Useful resources to help you improve your brewing

All the clubs mini-comps an opportunity for the members to hone their skills in brewing techniques and learning how to brew the styles outlined in the BJCP Style Guidelines.

We use the BJCP Beer, Cider and Mead scoresheets to assess each entry and provide feedback for all entries.

PUBS encourages any of its members to research, study and participate in any opportunity to develop their skills and become a BJCP qualified judge.

We recommend that you come along to our meetings and research.

How to Brew by John Palmer is a great resource. You can read version one of the book on line or alternatively purchase the book from a retailer of your choice.

This book is a must have for any person wanting to improve their brewing abilities.
